I've
never downloaded software before. How do I do it?

I
am getting an error message during installation. What should
I do?
|
|
This
is almost always caused by the download having been unsuccessful
or incomplete. Check the file size of the EXE file you downloaded
and compare it to the file size expected on the download page.
If they are not the same then download your file again. If
you continue to receive an error, please report the error to
support@slateboard.com.
If you are the first to report a problem you will receive a
free copy of the software.

What
versions of Windows do you support?
|
|
The current
versions of all of our software support Windows Vista, XP, 2000,
2003 Server or Media Center. We no longer support Windows 95,
98, Me or NT.

I've
installed the software, where is it?
|
|
If you cannot
find the program after installing, click the Start button, select
All Programs, then look for the new Slateboard Software folder.
New programs are quite often installed as the last option on
your menu and not in alphabetic order.

I'm
having problems entering my registration number, what should
I do?
|
|
Enter
the three part registration number in the three part Registration
field without the dashes, making sure that you enter numbers
where appropriate. Our codes use the format:
XXXX#-#####-######XXXX where X is a letter and # is a number.

I
haven't received my registration number yet but I need to get
started now, what can I do?
|
|
Simply
use the Demo Now button for 10 days of full access. Please note
that your registration number is emailed immediately after ordering.
If you have not received it, please check your spam filters
and confirm that the email address you entered when ordering
was correct.

I
just purchased and entered my registration number but it is
telling me I only have 30 days left to use it. What gives?
|
|
The
message you are seeing is indicating that you have 30 days left
to the complementary access to the next higher version of the
software. This allows you to evaluate the more expensive software
for 30 days. After the 30 days are up the free features will
disappear and you will be left with the product you ordered.

No,
however make certain that you have downloaded the latest patch
if you downloaded some time ago. |

do I uninstall your software? |

Use
the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs feature to remove any
of our products or patches. |

How
do I get a demo code? |
 |
You
don't need one. If you are being prompted to enter a demo code
then you are using an old version of our software. Please visit
our web site and download the latest copy. Use the Demo Now button
on the registration window for 10 days of full access. |

using Windows 2000 Professional or XP Professional, and am having
problems installing. Can you help? |

is essential that you are logged in as an Administrator to install
our software. If you do not have Admin privileges, you will not
be able to install. |
